SDS Automotive on Northgate is great! I took my car in for an oil change, smog inspection, brake check, etc. The prices are competitive and the staff made it a very comfortable experience. Kyle was friendly, professional, and thorough in explaining what was done to my car. They have a large waiting area with nice furniture (not folding chairs) and I think they had coffee and water too. The waiting time seemed just right for the services I got. I highly recommend SDS Automotive. I'll be back!

We’ve been bringing out Honda Civic here for a while now, but just brought our hybrid Chevy Volt here for new tires and smog check and are happy to know they now can service electric/hybrid cars. Service is always friendly and very straightforward and appreciate their transparency and honest work :).

I must say that this auto repair shop is one of the best in Sacramento. While it may be a bit expensive, it's worth it if you want your vehicle serviced properly. They take their time to do the job right, and they operate with transparency and integrity, which is rare in Sacramento. There are other good auto repair shops, but this one is definitely in the top two. My car is old, but thanks to this shop, it will last me even longer. They identified a problem that no other shop I had visited could find and fixed it. The manager, Juan, is truly amazing and will do everything he can to help you out! Thank you, SDS!

This was my first time at SDS Automotive. I came for a 60K mile checkup. The salesperson who greeted me was very helpful. The actual service which included an oil change and tire rotation was completed quickly. They made recommendations for necessary service repairs which I have scheduled for another date. The lobby was very comfortable and served Keurig coffee as well. I didn't mind waiting at all. I expect to take all my future service needs to SDS Automotive.
