I had an electrician come to my elderly mother’s house today since 3 outlets didn’t have power. The guy pushed for a full panel replacement and insisted that he couldn’t do anything without checking every single outlet in the house. He quoted me $1300 for a “full day”. I rarely have such a positive report for a service company, but the Griffen electrician was beyond outstanding. He came to install a fan in the bathroom, I asked him to also put in a switch for the bedroom fan - he discovered poor wiring installation, rewired it - and then out in the switch.
