We love this shop! They are always professional and today was no different. You all made it a quick and easy brake inspection. Thanks!

I got my tires balanced there and shortly there after that I started seeing tire light on so I kept filling my driver's side rear tire with air and I brought my vehicle back and they examined my vehicle for free. They found a small nail in the tire and patched it up with no charge. I thought I was going to be charged an arm and a leg but the service advisor or manager named Dakota took care of me free of charge. I can't tell you how much I needed a good place like this to look after my vehicle. I'll definitely be back. Good service and I thought is was super nice to fix my tire for free. Thanks Dakota and thank you Les Schwab!

Careful. The employees need re-evaluation and re-training. Their psychotic driver in their Les Schwab pickup tried to run me off the road today. License plate 90608G3. Narrowly avoided them but they were sure determined.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't say enough good things about the team at Les Schwab on Madison Avenue in Sacramento—especially Dakota, who was in charge of the tire shop, and Branden, the manager. While driving four 13-year-old boys up to Donner Summit for a cabin weekend, my tire pressure warning light came on. A quick check revealed a large bolt lodged in my rear tire. I pulled into the shop just five minutes before closing, unsure of what to expect. Dakota immediately assessed the situation, explained that the tire was too worn to repair, and that I’d need two new ones. He clearly laid out the policy and stuck to it—something I really respect. When I tried to tip him for the extra effort, he politely declined, saying, “I’m not doing this for anything other than what my job expects.” That kind of integrity is so rare these days. To make matters more complicated, I had planned to wait with all our gear until another parent could arrive—about 90 minutes later. But Dakota gently (and firmly) let me know the area wasn’t safe after closing. He and Branden secured all our stuff in the lobby, pointed us toward the bowling alley/arcade next door (which the boys later called the best part of the trip!), and then Branden returned after hours to unlock the shop so we could retrieve our things once our ride arrived. Run-flat tires for a BMW are notoriously tricky to find quickly, but they managed to locate and order the exact tires I needed by the next morning. The whole experience—from the professionalism and clarity to the human kindness and follow-through—was just outstanding. As a parent, I was deeply grateful. And as someone who’s lived in places where things only get done with “a little something extra,” I was blown away by the honesty and care these two showed. They set an incredible example for the four boys with me. Les Schwab, you’ve got two gems in Dakota and Branden. Thank you for hiring people who still believe in doing the right thing. —Cathy T., Marin County, CA

I helped my neighbor out after she hit something on 80. She had purchased her tires from Les Schwab months before. She blew out both right tires. She was scared and in a bad situation and drove to a safe place. I removed both wheels, one had a stripped stud. I bought one new wheel and went to les schwab with all her paper work and mileage. Dakota measured the one tire that was still in tack and quoted around $50 for adjusted replacement. I didn't question it. After paying and leaving I read the peace of mind warranty. They warranty the first 25 percent as free replacement and pro rate from there. These tires were 50k miles tires with less than 5k miles on them. I measured the new tires and compared them to the other 2. They were 6.5mm compared to 7mm. I measured all the tires in 3 similar locations across the Tread. Dakota warrantied these tires at 71 percent. I called him and asked and he said it was the computer. I asked what he measured and what was new. He told me 9/32nd was new and he measured 7/32nd. I asked him to do the math on that and he said the computer does the math. He offered me credit if I came in. I informed him that I would not and that he should hold himself to a higher standard than the tire shops on the corner. He blamed the computer and had no accountability for the lies and deciept. I think there is nothing worse than not being able to trust your mechanic taking care of your car. I took pictures of all the tires, the receipt and the mileage of the vehicle. If you offer a warranty in order to make a sale than you should stand by it. He mentioned possible problems with irregular tire wear due to alignment to justify more wear than the tires had. But the fact is he wanted to make money and not stand by the warranty. It may only be $50 but it is still is wrong. Les Schwab, hold yourself to a higher level of service.
