These guys are the best! They solved my evap issue that I was having on my 2017 BMW 430i and performed an oil change that were all very reasonable from a price perspective. They communicated throughout so that there were no surprises! I wouldn’t have thought owning a BMW would be this great knowing that Star Motors is right here “in my backyard!” Thanks Star Motor team!

I’ve been going to Star Motors since my first Mercedes in 2020. It’s 2025 and I’ve had 10 Benz’s inspected, serviced, and repaired here. I have never fully trusted any mechanics, auto shops, or even dealers with the words they say, work they do, or prices they quote until I met the guys at Star Motors. Alvin and Soua are always helpful and solution oriented no matter what I’m coming in for. I can’t be more thankful to the person who recommended them to me, and I try to be that person for anyone and everyone with a Benz or BMW. If you’re reading this, take it from me, go see them and find out first hand why you’ll never have to look for another mechanic again.

Star Motors gave me exceptional service. I had an issue with my car and i was at a convention in Sacramento. They were honest and treated me extremely fairly with reviewing my car issue. They understood that i wasn't local and probably wouldn't be able to come back to them. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would go back again if i am in the area. The reviews proved correct! Give them a try, i don't think that you will be disappointed. Just remember, a good auto shop will be booked, so give them time to get you in and take care of your vehicle.

Ever since I was a little Heem (a nickname given to me by friends), my dad has always (and continues to this day) advised me about the concept of money management. He says things such as “cut your coat according to your cloth”, essentially saying that I should always spend within my budget and not be concerned with what others do with their money (pocket watching). When it came to maintaining my first car (1997 Toyota Tercel), he instructed me to never get my car serviced at the dealership unless the work was covered by a warranty. As an adult, I take his sayings and lessons with me wherever I go and I find myself always searching for the best deal. After purchasing a low mileage BMW 840i, a colleague of mine highly recommended that I take it to Star Motors for any required maintenance. When my car was ready for an oil change, I called and spoke with Alvin who scheduled me an appointment for the following week. Arriving the day of the appointment, I filled out the required maintenance form, handed Alvin my key, and he informed me that it would be done by noon (I dropped the car off at 9:30). At 11:05 Alvin left me a voicemail informing me that the service had been completed and my car was ready (talk about efficiency)! Shortly after 1pm (they take lunch from 12 to 1), I arrived to pick up my car. For the oil change I paid $109 (this price includes a $20 discount for being a new customer), which is a solid deal considering that the local BMW Service Department quoted me $250. Aside from the savings, I found the establishment’s honesty to be refreshing. When I asked Alvin about the maintenance schedule that I should follow, he was very straightforward and did not try to upsell me. I look forward to keeping my current car for a long-term period; therefore, I will be returning to Star Motors for any future service needs!

I brought my G class to this shop for a CEL issue. The staff suggested replacing the EVAP leak detection pump. Initially doubtful due to failed attempts by 3 other shops, I was impressed by their expertise. They successfully resolved the issue, and I'm extremely grateful for their service!
